The KEP Italia Smart Nova Polo Velvet is the latest luxury version within KEP Italia’s popular Smart range. This modern riding helmet with an elegant velvet finish is fully designed and handcrafted in Italy, combining safety, comfort and style in one timeless design. The velvet covering gives the helmet a refined, classic appearance that perfectly reflects equestrian tradition.
This version features a beige (cognac) eco-leather chin strap, creating a luxurious contrast with the velvet outer shell and enhancing the helmet’s elegant character. The helmet is equipped with a polo peak, providing a sporty yet sophisticated look.
Innovative design & enhanced comfort
The Smart Nova is the evolution of the original Smart model and offers several improvements in ventilation and wearing comfort. The updated KEP Air Control System, with additional ventilation openings, ensures optimal airflow and temperature regulation, keeping the helmet cool even during intensive riding.
The inner lining is made from soft, breathable and eco-sustainable materials. It is fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. Thanks to the integrated fitting system, the helmet adapts perfectly to the rider’s head.
Safety & technology
The eco-leather chin strap with five attachment points ensures a secure and stable fit. In addition, the helmet is equipped with an integrated NFC chip, allowing the rider’s medical information to be stored in the KEP app – an important feature in emergency situations.

Two types of inner padding are available: a standard liner for round head shapes and an oval liner with additional side padding for oval head shapes.
