The Freejump Soft'Up Lite Safety Stirrups combine Freejump's proven technology with a size specifically designed for young riders and riders wearing up to EU shoe size 39. This makes the Soft'Up Lite an excellent choice not only for young riders, but also for women with smaller feet who prefer a more compact footbed.
As with the other Soft'Up models, safety is a key feature. The outer branch is made from flexible Elastollan®. This material is designed to deform under pressure and allow the outer branch to open, facilitating foot release in the event of a fall.
The spring steel single-branch structure features Freejump Shock Absorption technology and acts as a suspension system. This reduces the forces exerted on each stirrup by approximately one third, helping to reduce strain on the rider's joints while also relieving pressure on the horse's back.
The footbed provides excellent grip thanks to its elevated studs. Fibreglass integrated into the footbed contributes to the strength and durability of the stirrup. The forward position of the stirrup eye shifts the centre of gravity and naturally encourages a heel-down position. The eye is positioned at a 45° angle, making the stirrup easier to pick up while following the natural movement of the rider's leg.
The Soft'Up Lite also offers the option of personalisation. The pin on the mini outer branch is interchangeable and can be replaced with versions in different colours, designs or flags.
