The KEP Italia Smart Nova Polo Velvet is the newest luxury version within the popular Smart range by KEP Italia. This modern riding helmet with an elegant velvet finish is entirely designed and handcrafted in Italy and combines safety, comfort, and style in one timeless design. The velvet covering gives the helmet a classic, refined look that perfectly reflects traditional equestrian elegance.
This version features an eco-leather chin strap, creating a harmonious combination with the velvet outer shell and enhancing the helmet’s classic character. The helmet is equipped with a polo peak, giving it a sporty yet stylish appearance.
Innovative design & improved comfort
The Smart Nova is the evolution of the original Smart model and offers several improvements in ventilation and wearing comfort. The upgraded KEP Air Control System with additional ventilation slots ensures optimal airflow and temperature regulation, keeping the helmet cool even during intensive rides.
The inner lining is made of soft, breathable, and eco-sustainable materials. This liner is fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. Thanks to the integrated fit system, the helmet adapts perfectly to every head shape.
Safety & technology
The eco-leather chin strap with five attachment points ensures a stable and secure fit. In addition, the helmet includes an integrated NFC chip, allowing medical data to be stored via the KEP app — a valuable feature in emergency situations.

- L shell: size 59 to 62
Two types of liner are available: a standard liner for round head shapes and an oval liner with additional side padding for oval head shapes.
